I hope you enjoy my lovely new website!
Living in the beautiful village of Storrington West Sussex, I am surrounded by the beautiful South Downs at my doorstep and glorious sea views just the other side. I am never short of inspiration from the beautiful scenery, flora and fauna which comes from all around.
I love to walk through Parham Park which is very close by to where I live and a lot of wildlife can be seen, especially stags – which I love to paint!
With a BA Hon’s Packaging Design degree from the University of Farnham Surrey, and previously having a long term job working at Carte Blanche Greetings as their Packaging Designer, I have always worked in the commercial side of the art and design industry crossing many sectors within this.
I have learnt many things along the way and I now apply my commercial knowledge to my own business Jennifer Rose Gallery, which I established in July 2013 by marketing and licensing my own art and design works to a variety of clients.
With a love of working in my natural loose watercolour style, I create art and designed pieces, which are brought to life on a variety of home and gift product categories. Through working with licensing partners these collaborations have helped gain further popularity in the marketplace of today and increased awareness of my creative style. Since my first trade show in early 2018 recent new collaborations have been with Great British Cards and Wayfair stores.
With an impressive brand and product portfolio representing many different categories and markets globally, my varied client list has included Disney, Tesco M&Co, Evans Lichfield, Clinton Cards John Lewis and Marks & Spencers
"Lesser & Pavey have worked with Jennifer Rose for a number of years and have had a fantastic response to her beautiful designs on our range of top quality products."

My loose watercolour style
I LOVE using watercolours! I find its medium simply magical to work with and always an excitement when it creates unexpected beautiful effects such as watermarks. I naturally work with a loose style, and I like to use a lot of water when I paint to create layered effects. I begin by creating pockets of detail and I like to leave sections out for curiosity to the viewer taking a ‘less is more’ approach. I like to add in additional unexpected colour to create lift, which brings my atmospheric paintings to life and an element of sophistication is created.
