Easy Wildflower Meadow Watercolour
Easy Wildflower Meadow Watercolour
Today, I lost myself in the wildflower meadow, where colours blend and colours dance like water on paper. The blooms weren’t perfect – they didn’t need to be. Each petal whispered with soft edges and gentle washes, bleeding into the next in a beautiful unpredictable symphony.
Watching the meadow felt like painting with the breeze itself – loose strokes of gold, splashes of pink, and flickers of yellow that refused to be confined by rules. The wildness here is its own kind of perfection, a reminder that art, like nature, thrives when we let go and trust the flow.
I wanted to carry this feeling back to my brush – the freedom to let colour run, shapes blur and stories emerge from the simplest marks. In the wildflower meadow, I found not just inspiration, but permission to create without boundaries.

Loose painting tip of the month: Imply more than you describe. Let the viewer’s imagination do the work.
