How to paint loose watercolour Roses
My NEW loose watercolour tutorial has been added to the library!
You can now join me in my studio where I show you how to paint loose watercolour roses from real life, using a variety of wet-in-wet, and wet-on-dry techniques.
Making our observations first to the colour and shapes of our roses, we won’t be outlining our subject first, but instead we’ll go straight in with our watery paint to create the layers which build up their elegant form.
We’ll also include the shadows in this flatlay composition to accentuate a 3D look.
Because we’re working without a drawing, this tutorial will help you to create a super loose, impressionistic style unique to what you are seeing.
Come and join this new watercolor class with me.
What you’ll need:
Always remember, If you don’t have the equipment and paints I have, you can really creative an use what you do have.
Download the PDF photo of the Roses to refer to (located within the class) if you don’t have real life roses to work from.
