Learn to Paint a Loose Watercolour Hare
Learn to Paint a Loose Watercolour Hare
The tutorial you’ve all been asking for!
In my latest loose watercolour class I show you how to paint a loose watercolour hare just like the ones I’ve created on my popular home and giftware products seen in store and online with top retailers.
To do this we’ll refer to a reference photo (provided) so that you can create your own loose watercolour hare painting too, following my guide.
Throughout the class we’ll be using a combination of wet-in-wet and wet-on-dry techniques to create the furry textures and maintain vibrancy of colour to our painting.
As you know, I LOVE painting animals in loose watercolour, and I like to include a bit of artistic licence along the way. To do this, I include a floral background to my hare painting which is not seen in the initial hare photo reference but I use other supporting photographs and imagination to enhance what I am seeing in front of me to make a nice painting.
This makes the process even more fun and enjoyable.
So if you’re ready, you can take this exciting new loose watercolour hare with a background class here.
I guide you every step of the way in this fully instructed video class with all of the supporting photo references and equipment you’ll need provided.
You can check out a preview of this watercolour hare class below on my YouTube channel.
I hope I’ve inspired you to try this loose watercolour hare class and I can’t wait to see the background you add to your hare painting!
With love Jennifer Rose xx
