[VIDEO] Using Dry Brush Effects In Loose Watercolour

I absolutely LOVE painting stags, and they’ve been a great source of inspiration to my work over the years. You may have already seen some of them featured as wall art prints in Wayfair, The Range, and also on BEAUTIFUL giftware products in the marketplace too.

In this new gift inspired watercolour class, we will be creating the lovely textural effects with our brushes, and layering up the tones with our watery hues to create the energetic form and shading to our stag. We can REALLY exaggerate these elements when working in a loose style.

I demonstrate how to use dry brush techniques in this class to help mimic the furry textured coat to the stag and rugged antlers. This wonderful technique helps to add extra interest and intricacies to your painting.

So, come and join me in my studio at Jennifer Rose Gallery from the comfort of your own home where I will guide you through every step to paint a loose watercolour stag like me.
